Colin Stetson (Hereditary, Color Out of Space, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Hold Your Breath, Uzumaki, The First) has composed the original score for the upcoming IMAX documentary Stormbound. The film is directed by Miko Lim (Ocean Mother) and chronicles the life of Jeff Gammon, one of America’s top stormchasers. The movie features unseen footage of Hurricanes Charley, Florence, Ian, Irma & Katrina to showcase nature’s raw power with an inspiring true story of hope and survival. Lim is also producing the project with Hyperobject Industries’ Adam McKay (The Big Short, Succession), Todd Schulman (The Chair Company, The Dictator) and Trevor Jones. Stetson has previously scored the McKay-produced 2022 narrative feature The Menu. Stormbound is premiering this weekend at the 2026 SXSW Film Festival and is expected to be released later this year.
