Gaumont has released a new soundtrack album for the French TV series The Art of Crime (L’art du crime). The album features selections of the original music from the show’s latest seasons composed by Mathieu Lamboley (Lupin, Cold Storage, A Minuscule Adventure, Between Two Worlds, The Rosemaker, Daddy Cool, Cassandra, Sisters in Arms, Return of the Hero) who scored the last couple of seasons of the series. The Volume 2 soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the full track list. Also listen to the composer’s first two tracks below. The first volume was released back in 2021. The Art of Crime is created by Angèle Herry-Leclerc & Pierre-Yves Mora and stars Nicolas Gob, Eleonore Bernheim and Benjamin Egner. The drama follows a Paris police detective who teams up with the Louvre’s renowned art historian to solve a series of modern day crimes across France’s storied landmarks and museums. The show’s ninth season just premiered over the last few weeks on France 2.
