EmmoLei Sankofa (The Other Black Girl, Step Up, Launchpad: Project CC, Three Ways) has released a soundtrack album for the boxing drama Undercard. The album features the composer’s original music from the film and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Undercard is co-written and directed by Tamika Miller and stars Wanda Sykes, Bentley Green, Xavier Mills, Roselyn Sánchez, William Stanford Davis, Berto Colón and Estella Kahiha. The movie follows a two-time former boxing champion and recovering alcoholic as she attempts to reconnect with the 21-year-old son she abandoned. The drama premiered at last year’s Newport Beach Film Festival and is being released in select theaters today by Seismic Releasing.
