Silva Screen Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the British animated series New Captain Scarlet created by Gerry Anderson based on the 1960s classic Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons and starring Wayne Forester, Emma Tate, Robbie Stevens, Mike Hayley and Nigel Plaskitt. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Crispin Merrell (Space Precint, Death Machine, Lavender Castle). The limited edition 2-CD set, which includes new cover art, as well as the 40-page booklet from Netwerk’s previous, now out-of-print, 2008 premiere soundtrack album, will be released on March 13, 2026 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out the track list. New Captain Scarlet premiered in the UK in 1995 on ITV and is now available overseas on Blu-ray and DVD.
The label has also recently released a new soundtrack album for Anderson’s 1994 live-action series Space Precint. The 4-CD limited collector’s edition is also available to order on Amazon.
