Composer Alex Wurman (March of the Penguins, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Talladega Nights, Four Christmases, Something Borrowed, The Switch) is reuniting with writer/director/producer Steven Conrad (The Pursuit of Happyness, The Weather Man) on the new HBO limited series DTF St. Louis. The show is created by Conrad and stars Jason Bateman, David Harbour, Linda Cardellini, Richard Jenkins, Arlan Ruf, Joy Sunday, Peter Sarsgaard and Chris Perfetti. The comedy centers on a love triangle between three adults experiencing middle-age malaise that leads to one of them ending up dead. Conrad is also executive producing the project with Bateman, Harbour, Escape Artists’ Todd Black & Jason Blumenthal (The Equalizer, The Upside) and Steve Tisch (Forrest Gump, Knowing), as well as Molly Allen (Nine Perfect Strangers, Chief of War), Bruce Terris, Michael Nelson, Aggregate Films’ Michael Costigan (Out of the Furnace, Black Rabbit), Bravo Axolotl’s KC Wenson for Elephant Pictures’ Jennifer Scher (Ultra City Smiths) and James Lasdun. Wurman has previously collaborate with Conrad on the TV shows The Patriot & Perpetual Grace, LTD and also scored his 2008 feature The Promotion. DTF St. Louis will premiere this coming Sunday, March 1 on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
