Bryce Dessner (of The National) (Train Dreams, The Two Popes, The Accountant 2, We Live in Time, Cyrano, Manhunt, Bardo, She Came to Me, A Good Person, Widow Cliquot) has composed the original music for the new FX limited series Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette. The show is created by Connor Hines and stars Paul Anthony Kelly & Sarah Pidgeon in the title roles, as well as Grace Gummer, Naomi Watts, Alessandro Nivola, Sydney Lemmon, Leila George and Constance Zimmer. The 9-part drama explores the undeniable chemistry, whirlwind courtship and high-profile marriage of one of the most iconic couples of the 20th century. Hines is also executive producing the 20th Television production with Ryan Murphy (Glee, Nip/Tuck), Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson (Crazy Rich Asians, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes), Eric Kovtun & Scott Robertson (Feud, Monster), Nissa Diederich (All’s Fair, The Beauty), Monica Levinson (Captain Fantastic, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm), Kim Rosenstock (Dying for Sex), D.V. DeVincentis (American Crime Story, Pam & Tommy) and Tanase Popa. Max Winkler (Flower, Jungleland) executive produced and directed the pilot episode. Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette is premiering tonight on FX and will also be available to stream in the U.S. on Hulu and in most major international markets tomorrow on Disney+.
