Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Prime Video original series Cross. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Ali Shaheed Muhammad & Adrian Younge (Luke Cage, Reasonable Doubt, Sugar, Boogie, Run This Town, Power Book III: Raising Kanan). Also included is Danielle Ponder’s main title song Some of Us Are Brave. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, February 13. The streaming/download link will be added to this article soon. The label has previously released an album featuring Muhammad’s & Younge’s score from Season 1 back in 2024. Cross is created by Ben Watkins based on James Patterson’s bestselling Alex Cross book series and stars Aldis Hodge, Isaiah Mustafa, Alona Tal, Matthew Lillard, Samantha Walkes, Juanita Jennings, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, Johnny Ray Gill, Jeanine Mason and Wes Chatham. The first three episodes of the new season of the crime thriller, which follows the titular brilliant homicide detective and forensic psychologist in pursuit of a ruthless vigilante who is hunting down corrupt billionaire magnates, just premiered yesterday on Prime Video.
