PlantSounds has released has released a soundtrack album for the Danish animated feature Mumbo Jumbo (Da Mumbo Jumbo blev kæmpestor). The album features the film’s original music composed by Halfdan E (Borgen, Ragnarok, Secrets We Keep, The Inheritance, The Bride). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the first two tracks below. Mumbo Jumbo written and directed by Karsten Kiilerich is based on the children’s book of the same title by Jakob Martin Strids and folllows the title character as he magically grows to giant size and has to go on a dangerous journey with his three friends, to find a scary witch so she can turn him small again. The animated movie just opened in Danish theaters last weekend and is set to be released in several other international territories over the next months. No domestic distribution deal has been announced yet.
