Gondwana Records has released a soundtrack album for Joachim Trier’s drama Sentimental Value. The album features the film’s original music composed by Polish pianist, singer and composer Hania Rani (The Lost Flower of Alice Hart,  Rosalie, The Summer Book, I Never CrySubuk). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. A limited vinyl edition will be coming out on May 22. Listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. Sentimental Value is co-written and directed by Trier and stars Renate Reinsve, Stellan Skarsgård, Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas and Elle Fanning. The movie, which has recently been nominated for nine Academy Awards (including Best Picture), follows an estranged father and once-celebrated director eager to reclaim his former glory as he reconnects with his daughters and offers one of them the lead role in his new film. The drama, which premiered at last year’s Cannes Film Festival, was released in U.S. theaters last November by Neon and is now also available on VOD.
