Bad Records has released a soundtrack album for the animated feature Charlie the Wonderdog. The album features the film’s original score composed by Petteri Sainio (Rocket Club, Faithful Planet). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first track (A Hero Is Born) after the jump. A separate EP featuring Bryan Adam’s original songs from the movie is also being released today. Charlie the Wonderdog is co-written and directed by Shea Wageman and features the voices of Owen Wilson, Dawson Littman, Tabitha St. Germain, Elishia Perosa, Ruairi MacDonald and Zac Bennett-McPhee. The movie tells the story of a lovable dog who was mysteriously abducted by aliens and receives superpowers that transform him into the superhero. The animated adventure is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Viva Kids.
