Dragon’s Domain Records has announced the premiere release of the original tracks from the score for the 1967 Italian anti-war comedy drama The Girl and the General (La Ragazza e il Generale) co-written and directed by Pasquale Festa Campanile and starring Rod Steiger, Virna Lisi and Umberto Orsini. The film’s original music is composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Ennio Morricone (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, The Mission, Once Upon a Time in the West, The Hateful Eight, Cinema Paradiso, The Untouchables,The Thing). The CD is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also listen to audio samples and find out more about the release.
