James Newton Howard (The Hunger Games, The Sixth Sense, King Kong,Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Signs, The Fugitive, Maleficent, The Village) has revealed that is one of seven composers working on the upcoming drama Behemoth! The film is written and directed by Tony Gilory (Andor) and stars Pedro Pascal, Olivia Wilde, Eva Victor, Will Arnett, Matthew Lillard, Margarita Levieva and Alexa Swinton. No plot details have been announced yet, but the movie has been described as “a love letter to the music of the movies and the people who make it”. The director is also producing the project with Sanne Wohlenberg and John Gilroy. Newton Howard has previously collaborated with Gilroy on the features Michael Clayton, for which he received an Academy Award nomination, as well as Duplicity and The Bourne Legacy. Behemoth! is currently in production and will be released by Searchlight Pictures.
