AD Productions has released a soundtrack album for the French/Belgian biographical dramaMuganga, the One Who Treats (Muganga – Celui qui soigne). The album features the film’s original music composed by Alexandre Dudermel (Links of Life, Kalkidane). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Muganga, the One Who Treats is co-written and directed by Marie-Hélène Roux and stars Isaach de Bankolé, Vincent Macaigne, Babetida Sadjo, Manon Bresch and Deborah Lukumuenaa. The movie produced by Angelina Jolie follows Denis Mukwege, a Congolese doctor, pastor and future Nobel Peace Prize honoree as he meets and unites with Guy Cadière, a Belgian surgeon and atheist, to restore the bodies and dignity of thousands of women who have been used as weapons of war in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. The drama opened in French theaters this past September. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
