Jeremy Zuckerman has recently recorded his score for the upcoming animated feature The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender. The film based on Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender animated series is directed by Lauren Montgomery (Superman: Doomsday, Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths), co-directed by Steve Ahn & William Mata and features the voices of Dave Bautista, Eric Nam, Dionne Quan, Jessica Matten, Steven Yeun, Roman Zaragoza, Geraldine Viswanathan, Taika Waititi, Dee Bradley Baker, Freida Pinto and Ke Huy Quan. The Avatar Studios production follows Aang, the world’s last Airbender, as he embarks on a global quest to find an ancient power that could save his culture from extinction before it falls into the wrong hands and threatens to upend the peace they sacrificed everything to achieve. Original series creators Michael DiMartino & Bryan Konietzko are producing the Nickelodeon Movies production with Maryann Garger and Latifa Ouaou. As previously reported, Zuckerman who previously scored the animated series, as well as its sequel series The Legend of Korra is also scoring Nickelodeon’s upcoming Avatar: Seven Havens series. The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender will premiere in the fall of 2026 exclusively on Paramount+.
