Louisa’s Daughter Records has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish/Belgian historical drama/thriller Frontier (Frontera). The album features the film’s original music composed by Liesa Van der Aa (Cargo, Omen, All the Pretty Little Horses). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first track (Freed from Fear) after the jump. Frontier is directed by Judith Colell and stars Bruna Cusí, Miki Esparbé, Asier Etxeandia, Jordi Sánchez, Maria Rodríguez Soto, Kevin Janssens, Anna Franziska Jäger and Joren Seldeslachts. The movie tells the story of a Spanish customs officer who risks everything to help Jews escape Nazi-occupied France across the Pyrenees. The thriller, which premiered at this year’s Valladolid International Film Festival, opened in Spanish theaters earlier this month and has been picked up by Menemsha Films for a domestic release in 2026.
