Music Super Circus has released a soundtrack album for the Swedish comedy drama Let It Rain (Regnmannen). The album features the film’s original music composed by Swedish singer/songwriter Pernilla Andersson who has made her feature scoring debut on the project. Let It Rain is co-written and directed by Hannes Holm (A Man Called Ove) and stars Robert Gustafsson, Jonas Karlsson, Karin Lithman and Emelia Salhag. The movie is based on Karlsson’s novel of the same title and follows a grumpy widower living a regimented life in a small town in Southern Sweden who finds himself thrust into the spotlight of an event that will change not only his life but the entire village’s fate. The dramedy is being released in Swedish theaters today. No word yet on a domestic release.
