The full details of the soundtrack album for the psychological drama The Plague have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Johan Lenox who has made his feature scoring debut on the project. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 24 by Waxwork Records and will also be available to order as a vinyl edition. The label has previously released two first tracks (Drill & Memories) as digital singles last Friday. The Plague is written and directed by Charlie Polinger and stars Joel Edgerton, Everett Blunck, Kayo Martin, Kenny Rasmussen, Lucas Adler, Elliott Heffernan, Caden Burris, Lennox Espy, Nicolas Raşovan and Kolton Lee. The movie follows a socially anxious 12-year-old who is pulled into a cruel tradition targeting an outcast with an illness called “The Plague” at an all-boys water polo camp, but as the lines between game and reality blur, he fears the joke might be hiding something real.The drama premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and will be released in select theaters tomorrow by the Independent Film Company.
