Fm Records has released a soundtrack album for the Italian psychological romantic drama A Brief Affair (Breve storia d’amore). The album features the film’s original music composed by Fabio Massimo Capogrosso (Kidnapped: The Abduction of Edgardo Mortara, Primavera, The Flood, Exterior Night, The Time It Takes). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and most other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. A Brief Affair is written and directed by Ludovica Rampoldi and stars Pilar Fogliati, Adriano Giannini, Andrea Carpenzano and Valeria Golino. The movie follows a woman whose affair with a new lover, confined to a hotel room, takes a sinister turn when she begins to infiltrate her new partner’s life beyond their secret encounters. The drama premiered at this year’s Rome Film Festival and opened in Italian theaters last month. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
