La Cupula Music has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish/Argentine comedy thriller Wolf Beach (Playa de Lobos). The album features the film’s original music composed by Alfred Tapscott (The Barcelona Vampiress, The Sleeping Woman, Superagente Makey, You Keep the Kids, The Wedding Unplanner). Wolf Beach is written and directed by Javier Veiga and stars Dani Rovira and Guillermo Francella. The movie follows an Argentine tourist who relaxes at a beach bar in Spain, but when he refuses to leave, a tense standoff ensues that escalates into a disturbing proposal. The comedy premiered at this year’s Malaga Film Festival and just opened in Spanish theaters this weekend.
