B Original has released a soundtrack EP for the Belgian/French comedy drama Kika. The 6-track EP features the film’s original music composed by Pierre Desprats (Olga, She Is Conann, Rouge, Queens of Drama, The Wild Boys, Perfect Nanny, The Cow Who Sang a Song Into the Future). Kika is co-written and directed by Alexe Poukine and stars Manon Clavel, Ethelle Gonzalez Lardued, Suzanne Elbaz, Makita Samba, Anaël Snoek, Kadija Leclere, Thomas Coumans and Bernard Blancan. The movie follows a social worker who discovers she is pregnant shortly after the death of her partner and must find a way to make money fast. The dramedy, which premiered at the Critics’ Week section of this year’s Cannes Film Festival, opened in Belgian theaters this past June and has just been released in French theaters earlier this month.
