Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the French period drama Jean Valjean. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christophe Julien (Bye Bye Morons, Delicious, Nothing to Hide, Second Round, Saint-Ex, Farewell, Mr. Haffman, See You Up There). Jean Valjean is written and directed by Eric Besnard and stars Grégory Gadebois, Bernard Campan, Alexandra Lamy and Isabelle Carré. The movie is based on Victor Hugo’s classic Les Miserables and follows Valjean after he is released from prison after nineteen years of hard labor, violence, and suffering, when he meets a kind bishop whose humanity inspires him to become a better man. The drama is opening in French theaters today.
