Amazon Content Services has released a soundtrack EP for the Argentine historical drama Belén. The 6-track EP features the film’s original music composed by singer/songwriter and guitarist Marilina Bertoldi (of the rock band Connor Questa). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s first two tracks below. Belén is co-written and directed by Dolores Fonzi and stars Fonzi herself, alongside Camila Plaate, Laura Paredes, Julieta Cardinali and Sergio Prina. The movie, which has been selected as Argentina’s submission in the International Feature category for next year’s Academy Awards, and tells the story of a young woman accused of infanticide, and the bold lawyer who risks everything to take on her highly controversial, precedent-setting case. The drama, which premiered at this year’s San Sebastián International Film Festival, was released in Argentine theaters this past September and just made its streaming debut last Friday on Prime Video.
