The full details of the soundtrack album for Walt Disney Animation Studios’ sequel Zootopia 2 have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, Ratatouille, The Batman, Jurassic World, Inside Out, Spider-Man: No Way Home, The Incredibles, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Star Trek) who previously composed the music for the original 2016 movie. Also included is Shakira’s original song Zoo (written with Ed Sheeran & Blake Slatkin), which has already been released as a digital single last month (check out official music video, which just premiered this past Wednesday, after the jump). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, November 21 by Walt Disney Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Zootopia 2 is directed by Jared Bush & Byron Howard and stars Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Quinta Brunson, Idris Elba, Fortune Feimster, Ke Huy Quan, Macaulay Culkin, Shakira herself, Patrick Warburton and Nate Torrence. The animated comedy, which follows Judy & Nick as they find themselves on the trail of a mysterious reptile, will be released in theaters nationwide on November 26 by Walt Disney Pictures.
