Cam Sugar has released a soundtrack album for the Italian drama Five Seconds (Cinque secondi). The album features the film’s original music composed by Carlo Virzì (Human Capital, The Leisure Seeker Seeker, My Name Is Tanino, The First Beautiful Thing). Five Seconds is co-written and directed by Paolo Virzì and stars Valerio Mastandrea, Galatea Bellugi, Valeria Bruni Tedeschi and Ilaria Spada. The movie follows a 50-year old man living in a villa in an isolated Tuscany valley, when a group of young a group of young idealists take over the empty villa, hoping to restore its long-abandoned vineyards. The drama premiered at this year’s Rome Film Festival and is being released in Italian theaters today. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
