Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album for the psychological thriller The Hand That Rocks the Cradle. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award nominee Ariel Marx (Dying for Sex, Shiva Baby, Candy, Sanctuary, Murdaugh: Death in the Family, A Small Light, The Last Frontier, The Tale, A Friend of the Family, Happy Face). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 22 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to two tracks from the composer’s score below. The Hand That Rocks the Cradle is directed by Michelle Garza Cervera and stars Maika Monroe, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Raúl Castillo, Riki Lindhome, Mileiah Vega, Martin Starr and Shannon Cochran. The reimagining of Curtis Hanson’s 1992 movie of the same title follows a nanny who starts to work for a suburban couple, but it soon becomes clear that she’s got a very ulterior motive. The 20th Century Studios production will premiere tomorrow in the U.S. exclusively on Hulu and in most other major international markets on Disney+.
