MovieScore Media has released a soundtrack album for David Midell’s horror thriller The Ritual. The album features the film’s original music composed by Joseph Trapanese (The Witcher, Shadow and Bone, Oblivion, The Greatest Showman, Straight Outta Compton, Brilliant Minds, G20, The Raid: Redemption) & Jason Lazarus (Skull Island, The Gates, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans). The Ritual is co-written and directed by Midell and stars Al Pacino, Dan Stevens, Ashley Greene, Patricia Heaton and Abigail Cowen . The movie based on a true story follows two priests – one questioning his faith and one reckoning with a troubled past – who must work together to perform a series of terrifying exorcisms to save the young woman’s soul. The thriller was released in theaters nationwide this past June by XYZ Films and is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
