Hippocampus has released a soundtrack album for the French period comedy G-Day (Le Jour J). The album features the film’s original music composed by Laurent Perez Del Mar (The Red Turtle, My Son, I Kill Giants, The Mystery of Henri Pick, The Kitchen Brigade, Zarafa). G-Day directed by Claude Zidi Jr and stars Kev Adams, Brahim Bouhlel, Marie Parisot, Chantal Ladesou, Didier Bourdon, Jonathan Lambert, Christiana Réali, Jarry and Guy Lecluse. The movie is set in June 1944 on the eve of the Allied landings and follows a young soldier stationed on a British military base whose mission is to move fake soldiers around a fake camp, designed to mislead the enemy. The comedy is opening in French theaters today.
