Folkgang Records has released a soundtrack album for the Italian western Heads or Tails? (Testa o Croce?). The album features the film’s original music composed by Vittorio Giampietro (The Tale of King Crab, The Land of Women, Il complottista). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out audio samples. Also listen to the composer’s main theme after the jump. Heads or Tails? is co-written and directed by Alessio Rigo de Righi & Matteo Zoppis and stars Nadia Tereszkiewicz, Alessandro Borghi, John C. Reilly, Mirko Artuso, Peter Lanzani, Gabriele Silli and Gianni Garko. The movie follows a young woman trapped in a stifling marriage to a powerful and violent landowner who – together with her cowboy lover – flees across the Italian wilderness, pursued by Buffalo Bill. The western, which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, just opened in Italian theaters earlier this month and has been picked up by Samuel Goldwyn Films for a domestic release in the coming months.
