Plaza Mayor Company has released a soundtrack album for the French drama Meteors. The album features the film’s original score composed by Maxime Denuc & Matthieu Gasnier. Also included are songs by Pamela, Stony Stone feat. Zamdane, Stony Stone feat. Zamdane, Hatik and Tommy Moisi. Meteors is written and directed by Hubert Charuel (in collaboration with Claude Le Pape) and stars Paul Kircher, Idir Azougli and Salif Cissé. The movie explores the relationship between two friends who find themselves trapped in a maze with no way out and – following a ludicrous act of rebellion – end up in court and are eventually forced to work at a nuclear waste facility. The drama premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and is opening in French theaters today. No domestic distribution deal has been announced yet.
