Composer, musician and Bright Eyes member Nathaniel Walcott (Midnight Sun, Lovely, Still, Come and Find Me, Love Song) is reuniting with director Josh Boone (The New Mutants) on the upcoming romantic drama Regretting You. The film is based on the bestselling novel by Colleen Hoover (It Ends with Us) and stars Allison Williams, Mckenna Grace, Dave Franco, Mason Thames, Scott Eastwood, Sam Morelos, Clancy Brown and Willa Fitzgerald. The movie follows a mother and daughter as they explore what’s left behind after a devastating accident reveals a betrayal and forces them to confront family secrets, redefine love, and rediscover each other. Susan McMartin (Leanne, Mr. Church) wrote he screenplay. Brunson Green (The Help, A United Kingdom), Anna Todd (After series), Flavia Viotti and Robert Kulzer (Resident Evil series, Agatha All Along) are producing the Constantin Film, Harbinger Pictures & Frayed Pages production. Season Kent serves as the project’s music supervisor. Walcott has previously co-scored Boone’s features The Fault in Our Stars & Stuck in Love & and the TV show The Stand with Mike Mogis. Regretting You will be released in theaters nationwide on October 24 by Paramount Pictures.
