22D Music has released a soundtrack album for the French comedy drama The Man Who Saw the Bear (L’homme qui a vu l’ours qui a vu l’homme). The album features the film’s original music composed by Olivier Defays (Straight Into the Wall, La cavale des fous). The Man Who Saw the Bear is co-written and directed by Pierre Richard and stars Richard himself, Timi-Joy Marbot and Gustave Kervern. The movie explores the unlikely friendship between two men from different generations who are united by their shared love of nature and a deep affection for a circus bear who escaped. The dramedy premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and is opening in French theaters today.
