Movistar Sound has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish drama Sundays (Los domingos). The album features the choral music from the film produced by David Cerrejón who is best known for his collaborations with Academy Award-nominated composer Alberto Iglesias. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen two tracks, including the choral version of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds’ Into My Arms (as featured in the trailer), below. Sundays is written and directed by Alauda Ruiz de Azúa and stars Blanca Soroa, Patricia López Arnaiz, Miguel Garcés, Mabel Rivera, Juan Minujín and Nagore Aranburu. The movie tells the story of an idealistic and brilliant 17-year-old who is considering embracing the life of a cloistered nun while her parents push her to chose what university degree she wants to pursue. The drama just premiered at the San Sebastián Film Festival and will be released in Spanish theaters on October 24. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
