Lakeshore Records has released the second track from the soundtrack for the new film adaptation of the stage musical Kiss of the Spider Woman. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is Never You (one of three songs that were performed in the original SUNY Purchase production of the musical in 1990, but not included in the Broadway version) written by John Kander (music) & Fred Ebb (lyrics), produced by Matt Sullivan and performed by Jennifer Lopez (who stars in the title role). Kiss of the Spider Woman is written and directed by Bill Condon based on the musical penned by Terrence McNally and also stars Diego Luna, Tonatiuh, Bruno Bichir, Josefina Scaglione and Aline Mayagoitia. The movie premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and will be released in theaters on October 10 by Roadside Attractions.
