Angel Studios will release the official soundtrack album for the biographical sports drama The Senior. The album features the film’s original music composed by Larry Groupé (The Contender, Resurrecting the Champ, Commander-in-Chief, Nothing But the Truth, The Outpost, Straw Dogs). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 19 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. The Senior is directed by Rod Lurie and stars Michael Chiklis, Mary Stuart Masterson, Brandon Flynn, Rob Corddry, Terayle Hill, James Hamblin and Todd Terry. The movie tells the true story of 59-year-old Mike Flynt who – 35 years after getting kicked off his college football team – decides to return to the gridiron for his last year of eligibility and prove to himself, his family and former teammates that it’s never too late to tackle your dreams. The drama premiered at the 2023 Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival and is opening in theaters nationwide this weekend.
