Invada Records will release a soundtrack album for the British psychological horror thriller Rabbit Trap. The album features the film’s original music written by Columbia musician, sound artist and composer Lucrecia Dalt (On Becoming a Guinea Fowl, The Seed, The Baby). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 12 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the first track (Theme One) below. A vinyl edition is also in the works. Rabbit Trap is written and directed by Bryn Chainey and stars Dev Patel, Rosy McEwen and Jade Croot. The movie follows a musician and her husband who move to a remote house in Wales, where the music they make disturbs local ancient folk magic, bringing a nameless child to their door who is intent on infiltrating their lives. The Bankside Films & SpectreVision production premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and is being released in select U.S. theaters this weekend by Magnolia Pictures’ Magnet Releasing.
