Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the crime thriller Americana. The album features the film’s original music composed by David Fleming (Superman, The Last of Us, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Damsel, Hillbilly Elegy, The Unforgivable, Blue Planet II). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 5 and will be available to stream/donwload on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Americana is written and directed by Tony Tost and stars Sydney Sweeney, Paul Walter Hauser, Halsey, Eric Dane, Zahn McClarnon, Simon Rex, Toby Huss, Gavin Maddox Bergman, Derek Hinkey and Harriet Sansom Harris. The movie follows a shy waitress with big dreams who teams up with a military veteran to gain possession of a rare Native American artifact, putting them in the crosshairs of a ruthless criminal working on behalf of a Western antiquities dealer. The thriller, which premiered at the 2023 SXSW Film Festival, was released released in theaters last month by Lionsgate and will be coming out on VOD and Blu-ray in the coming weeks.
