Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch (Living, All of Us Strangers, The Agency, The Assessment, The Forgotten Battle, The Strays, Censor) has recently scored the upcoming British drama H Is for Hawk. The film is directed by Philippa Lowthorpe (Misbehaviour, Swallows and Amazons) and stars Claire Foy, Brendan Gleeson, Josh Dylan and Eden Hamilton. The movie is based on Helen Macdonald’s bestselling memoir and follows a woman dealing with the loss of her beloved father who finds herself saved by an unlikely friendship with a stubborn hawk named Mabel. Emma Donoghue (Room, The Wonder) wrote the screenplay. Dede Gardner & Jeremy Kleiner (12 Years a Slave, Moonlight) are producing the project for Plan B Entertainment. H Is for Hawk will premiere this weekend at the Telluride Film Festival.
Levienaise-Farrouch’s other recent projects include Petra Volpe’s Swiss/German drama Late Shift (Heldin), which premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival and has recently been picked up by Music Box Films for domestic distribution.
