Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the HBO original documentary series The Yogurt Shop Murders. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Claudia Sarne (Shining Girls, The Book of Eli, Earthquake Bird, Triple 9, Broken City, Dispatches from Elsewhere). Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the soundtrack and also listen to the composer’s first two tracks after the jump. The Yogurt Shop Murders is directed by Margaret Brown and explores the tragic murder of four teenage girls at an “I Can’t Believe It’s Yogurt” Shop on December 6, 1991 in Austin, TX. The 4-parter features interviews with family members of the victims, investigators and suspects, as well as archival footage to reveal a crime scene ravaged by an overwhelmed police department, fire and water, and a terrified city. The series premiered earlier this month and the final episode will debut this Sunday, August 24 on HBO.
