Gaumont has released a soundtrack album for the French action thriller The Orphans (Les Orphelins). The album features the film’s original music composed by Julien Grunberg & Paul-Marie Barbier (Restless, The Cage, Fiasco, Medellin, Fantasies, La Fièvre, Ibiza). The Orphansis co-written and directed by Olivier Schneider and stars Alban Lenoir, Dali Benssalah, Sonia Faidi, Romain Levi, Anouk Grinberg and Suzanne Clément. The movie follows two childhood friends, a cop and a mob fixer, living opposite lives who team up to search for the killer of a former friend from their orphanage. The thriller will be released in French theaters tomorrow, August 20. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
