A soundtrack album has been released for the noir thriller Hollywood Grit. The album features the songs from the film written by Jon Gus, Nick Gomez & Sarah Cardenas and performed by Victoria Renée, Disanti, Ysabela Espinosa (as Ysabel Wilhoit), Cardenas herself, Alycia Adler McGregor and Linda Purl. A second album featuring Gomez’s original score from the movie will be released later this week. Hollywood Grit is co-written and directed by Ryan Curtis and stars Max Martini, Tyrese Gibson, Purl, Patrick Duffy, Linc Hand, Nikki Howard, David B. Meadows, Caylee Cowan, Benito Martinez and Espinosa. The movie follows a fallen detective who must confront his past demons to find his estranged daughter, an aspiring singer who mysteriously vanishes from the glamorous yet perilous world of a Hollywood jazz club. The thriller will be released in select AMC theaters this Friday, August 22 by 360 Distribution.
