Tom Schraeder (Hurt, We’re Not Safe Here, Beast Mode) is providing the original score for the upcoming horror feature Vicious. The film is written and directed by Bryan Bertino (The Strangers, The Monster) and stars Dakota Fanning, Kathryn Hunter, Mary McCormack, Rachel Blanchard, Klea Scott, Devyn Nekoda and Emily Mitchell. The movie revolves around a young woman who must navigate a series of impossible choices when she receives a mysterious Box from an unexpected late-night visitor that comes with a simple instruction: place three things inside: something you need, something you hate, and something you love. Bertino is also producing the project with Richard Suckle (Wonder Woman, American Hustle). Schraeder has previously scored Bertino’s last feature, The Dark and the Wicked. Vicious will premiere on October 10 on Paramount+ and will also be available on Digital on the same day.
