Warner Music Central Europe has released the original song Bitte lass das Licht an from the German western comedy sequel The Canoe of Manitu (Das Kanu des Manitu). The track written by Stefan Raab and performed by Max Mutzke is now available to stream/download as a digital single (which also includes two additional songs written by Raab for the film) on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The Canoe of Manitu is co-written and directed by Michael Bully Herbig and stars Herbig himself, Christian Tramitz, Rick Kavanian, Jessica Schwarz, Jasmin Schwiers, Friedrich Mücke, Daniel Zillmann, Tobias van Dieken, Tutty Tran, Pit Bukowski, Merlin Sandmeyer, Akeem van Flodrop and Sky du Mont. The sequel to the 2001 hit movie Manitou’s Shoe (scored by Ralf Wengenmayr) is opening in German theaters today.
