Intrada Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Israeli drama SODA. The album features the film’s original music composed by Frank Ilfman (Gunpowder Milkshake, Big Bad Wolves, The Operative, Ghost Stories, The Etruscan Smile, A Mistake). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 5 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. SODA is co-written and directed by Erez Tadmor and stars Rotem Sela, Lior Raz and Netta Shpigelman. The movie tells the story of a beautiful seamstress with a mysterious past who moves to a neighborhood of Holocaust survivors in 1956, where she meets a former brave resistance fighter who is torn between his passion to the woman and his commitment to the community. The drama premiered at various film festivals over the last year and opened in Israeli theaters this past January. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
