Marina Elderton (Zero, Plunge) has released a soundtrack album for the British documentary Poly Styrene: I Am a Cliché. The album features the composer’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Poly Styrene: I Am a Cliché is directed by Celeste Bell & Paul Sng and centers on the first woman of color in the UK to front a successful rock band and her daughter, Celeste, who became the steward of her mother’s legacy and demons. The movie follows Celeste’s journey to better understand Poly as an icon and mother. The documentary, which premiered at the 2021 Glasgow Film Festival, was released in select U.S. theaters in early 2022 by Utopia and is now also available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
