Pirate Music has released a soundtrack album for the sci-fi/horror comedy Ick. The album features the film’s original score composed by Brain and Melissa (aka Bryan ‘Brain’ Mantia & Guns N’ ‘Roses’ Melissa Reese) (Bodied, Detention). Ick is co-written and directed by Joseph Kahn and stars Brandon Routh, Malina Weissman, Harrison Cone, Taia Sophia, Zeke Donovan Jones, Mena Suvari, Debra Wilson and Jeff Fahey. The movie follows a high school science teacher who must grapple with a a parasitic alien entity, as well as the apathy of the small town it has been gradually absorbing. The satire premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival and has just been released in select theaters this past Sunday as a “three nights only event”(July 27, 28 & 29) by Fathom Events.
