Quartet Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1967 comedy Arabella directed by Mauro Bolognini and starring Virna Lisi, James Fox, Margaret Rutherford and Terry-Thomas. The album, which is being released as part of the Universal Pictures Film Music Classics Collection, features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Ennio Morricone (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Once Upon a Time in the West, The Mission, The Untouchables, The Hateful Eight, Cinema Paradiso, The Thing). The CD, which is limited to 1,500 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release.
