Invada Records has released British period drama Tornado. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jed Kurzel (Alien: CovenantMonkey ManThe Babadook, The Snowtown Murders, The Mustang, Echo Valley, Overlord, Assassin’s Creed, The Pope’s Exorcist). Tornado is written and directed by John Maclean and stars Kōki, Jack Lowden, Tim Roth and Takehiro Hira. The movie follows a young Japanese woman who vows to seek vengeance after her father’s puppet Samurai show is ambushed by a notorious gang and forges her own destiny by stealing the gang’s ill-gotten gold. The drama, which premiered at this year’s Glasgow Film Festival, was released in select U.S. theaters in May by IFC Films and is now also available on VOD.
