Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1985 mystery adventure Young Sherlock Holmes directed by Barry Levinson and starring Nicholas Rowe, Alan Cox, Anthony Higgins, Sophie Ward, Freddie Jones, Nigel Stock, Roger Ashton-Griffiths and Brian Oulton. The album, which is being released to coincide with the movie’s 40th anniversary, features the the film’s complete original score composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee Bruce Broughton (Silverado, Rescuers Down Under, Tombstone, The Miracle on 42nd Street, Lost in Space, Homeward Bound). The 3-CD set is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the full album details and listen to audio samples. Intrada has previously released multiple versions of the soundtrack, including the premiere of the complete score in 2014 and a remastered edition in 2019. Young Sherlock Holmes is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
