Atlantic Records will release a second soundtrack album for the sports action drama F1. The Cinematic Edition album features all the songs from F1 The Album (by artists including Don Toliver feat. Doja Cat, Ed Sheeran, Tate McRae, Chris Stapleton, Dom Dolla feat. Nathan Nicholson, Tiësto & others), as well as the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer (The Lion KingDune, The Dark Knight, Inception, GladiatorPirates of the Caribbean, InterstellarMan of Steel). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, June 27 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. F1 is directed by Joseph Kosinski and stars Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Kim Bodnia and Tobias Menzies. The movie tells the story of a former racing phenom whose career nearly ended after an accident on the track thirty years ago who gets approached by his former teammate who convinces him to come back to FORMULA 1 for one last shot at saving the team and being the best in the world.The Apple Studios production is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Warner Bros.
