Villa Recordings will release a soundtrack album for the Norwegian drama Safe House (Før mørket). The album features the film’s original score composed by Lisa Nordström (Children of the Enemy, The Good Driver). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, May 23 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services. Safe House is directed by Eirik Svensson and stars Kristine Kujath Torp, Bibi Tanga, Alexander Karim, Tracy Gotoas and Alma Pöysti. The movie is based on the true events that unfolded during 15 tense hours at a Doctors Without Borders hospital in Bangui on Christmas Eve, 2013 and revolves around Norwegian field worker who was stationed at the hospital when civil war erupted. The drama premiered at this year’s Göteborg Film Festival and was released in Norwegian and Swedish theaters over the last few months. No word yet on a domestic release.
